Herbert is one of those idea-generating, never ending, 'go get it' kind of guys. Working with him on any project has never 'cost' me energy, it gives me energy. New angles, ideas that you wouldn't have dared to dream about and a 'nothing is impossible' kind of attitude. From a private point of view, also, simply a genuinely straight 'good-guy'. You might not like what you hear, but sure as hell you needed it. This comes back in his work as well. Actually, coming to think of it, there is not much difference in his work and private attitude. Straight, focused and willing to help out through doing what he does best, make beautiful things that touch you.
